This Insight Film Festival offers a unique opportunity to see a range of recently made films which explore faith and faith values.
Movies from young film makers throughout the UK have been submitted to this Festival representing many different faith viewpoints. The nominees will be screened at the event before the winner is announced for the Premier Award of £1000.
The Festival will also provide an opportunity to debate, question and challenge issues concerning faith, media, portrayal and diversity during the special JUDGES SEMINAR. The judges include Rajinder Dudrah, Head of Drama and Screen at Manchester University, Tina Garavi an Iranian film maker, Liz Rymer, film producer and Tommy Nagra, executive producer with BBC Religion and Ethics. Fr Peter Malone, international film commentator will join the panel which will be chaired by BBC Radio Manchester and Lancashire’s Talat Awan.
Admission is by ticket and space is strictly limited. Early Booking is advisable.

11:00am: The entries that have been nominated will be shown throughout the day. Please come along and see these fantastic films that combine a diverse & dynamic portrait of how they view faith.
3:00pm: “The Judges Seminar” with a panel including some of our judges and other professional film makers. An opportunity to share views and push the questions.
6:00pm: The winners of the Premier Award and of the Signis Award will be announced
